The cost of wind energy to consumers has declined by 66% over the past 6 years as the US wind industry continues to grow. Workers in every state are employed by the wind industry via construction, manufacturing, or O&M.
This AWEA press release provides some quick facts in advance of the April release of AWEA’s 2015 U.S. Wind Industry Annual Market Report, which will provide an in-depth analysis of the state of the American wind industry – from employment to installed capacity.
